Background

Dr. Sholomon graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 2001. He began working for Resident Eye Care Associates soon after graduation and became a partner in 2004. He currently examines patients in private practice, private homes, nursing homes, adult daycare and long-term care facilities. Dr. Sholomon specializes in examining patients with both dry eyes and allergic conditions. He has been a keynote speaker for Allergan since 2010 on these topics. He is also certified in Orthokeratology, fitting Paragon CRT lenses which provide patients the ability to see 20/20 all day without using any glasses or contact lenses. As the chief of new business development and strategic marketing, he expanded our services at nursing homes with personally acquiring relationships with over 150 long-term care facilities, making Resident Eye Care the largest nursing home, assisted living, and adult day care provider in the state of New Jersey. In September 2007, he co founded Home Vision Group, a home care division which provides home eye care to over 500 plus patients throughout the state of New Jersey. In March 2012, Dr. Sholomon forged relationships with multiple surgery centers that provide cataract surgery and other minor ocular surgeries for our patients. Throughout our expansion process, Dr. Sholomon has mentored and guided seven of our optometric physicians. He has also partnered with our ophthalmologist to provide our patients with comprehensive services, making our group one of the premier eye care groups in the state of New Jersey.
